Below we have listed the major Extension-related activities scheduled for our county in the near future. If you have more questions about any of these events, please call or e-mail the contact person.

Private Pesticide Applicator Training

There will be a Private Pesticide Applicator training when needed. This applies to all persons with a current private applicator license who want to maintain Continuing Education Credits (CEU) and to all persons who want to obtain a new license. Five credits in five years must be maintained to stay licensed.

This course will provide 3 credits to those with a current license. Those of you who have a license that has expired will have to retest.

If you plan to retest, please have your SS number and a check for $5 made out to New Mexico Dept. of Ag.

Invasive/Noxious Weeds

The threat of invasive/noxious weeds is becoming more significant as the weather patterns change,it continues to get drier, and as more weeds are becoming prevalent from the North. There have been some ranches in Montana that have been completely ruined.

Computer Training

The Harding County office teaches computer training a various times during the year. If you are interested in attending these classes, contact the office by phone or email.
